I was just getting ready to start having classes in my home again when our governor issued the stay at home order. And now our schools are closed for person-to-person learning for the rest of this school year, so it appears that I will have some time to devote to another way of teaching.
I have been making little thank you notes stuffed with chocolate to give out to essential workers. I have also been sending cards to those on our church’s shepherding lists, birthday cards to my staff and a birthday card group to which I belong.
Sending cards and letters is an ancient art, but one that needs reviving, especially now. I would be glad to include you in some on-line card making classes. I’ve even purchased (but not installed) equipment to make videos. Trouble is, I’m not ready, yet, to go live, or to put things up for the whole world to see.
If you would be willing to join me on this journey, I’d love to share what I’m creating with you. I would appreciate honest feedback on ease of use, video quality, instructional quality, how easy it is to follow, etc. Right now, I’m doing written tutorials because they are the easiest for me. I hope to branch out and include video soon. Just e-mail me at revjanstamps@comcast.net and I will add you to my list and let you know how and where to connect. These will be private, or password protected, and you will always have the first look before they go public.
